DOMINOS
Dominos pizza isn’t exactly gourmet, we all know that. But that isn’t what Dominos sells. They sell high-speed delivery/quick gratification. So we made creative that sold, not the food, but the real product—fast gratification. The result was stupendous: sales shot up. Yay, sales.
Boss Warning
Dominos pizza isn’t exactly gourmet, we all know that. But that isn’t what Dominos sells. They sell high-speed delivery. This was a series we wrote to turn into webisodes where the Dominos delivery is so impressive that it eventually breaks up a friendship at a local delivery company.
Bill Missing
The second installment in the series; Bill defects to Dominos. His co-workers are shocked, hurt, and betrayed. It’s an (absurdly) emotional moment in the cutthroat world of high-speed delivery.
Pizza Box
The concept of this campaign, “You got 30 minutes”, was to flip-flop the usual issue of waiting, and make it into a challenge. In other words, Dominos will be there in just 30 minutes, will you be ready that fast? This is one example of how we used the box to teach customers how to use the scant 30-minute window.
Ambulance
This Dominos ambulance showed up everywhere from little league games to disaster locations; anywhere pizza was needed fast. Often it would show up ahead of first-responders, whom we dubbed, ‘second-first-responders’.
